Amara Luxury Suites With Private Hot Tub
Chania, Greece · B.Booking.com 0.0
A hotel with a private in-room hot tub in Chania, where the jacuzzi sits sunk into pale stone and looks out over the city.
The Luxury Suite at Amara has a jacuzzi built into the bathroom floor, sunk deep into cream travertine so you're held in the water at chest height. It's a clever design: you're close enough to the window to watch Chania's roofline while you soak, but set back enough that the room stays private. The tub itself is black, modern, substantial. There's a city view from the suite, and the bathroom is all clean lines and pale stone, with a rainfall shower behind frosted glass doors. It's a room that takes itself seriously without fussing.

Questions, answered
Is the hot tub in the bathroom or on a balcony?+
It's in the bathroom, sunk into the floor. You can see the city from it, but it's not exposed to the outside.
What's the bathroom like beyond the tub?+
It's modern and minimal: pale stone, an oval mirror, a rainfall shower behind frosted glass, and good lighting. It feels clean and considered.
Where in Chania do hotels with a private in-room jacuzzi tend to have the best views?+
Properties along the Akrotiri peninsula and the Venetian harbour area give you water views from the tub itself, while those inland near the White Mountains trade sea panoramas for mountain quiet and deeper privacy.
What's the best time of year to visit Chania if you want value on a tub suite?+
Late April to mid-June and September to October hit the sweet spot: the sea is warm enough to enjoy, prices sit closer to the €51 end of the range rather than the midsummer peak, and the town breathes a little more easily.
