Who we are
Upgrade Suites is a hotel-discovery directory operated from Malmö, Sweden. For any privacy question, email mail@upgradesuites.com. We are the data controller for the limited information described below.
The short version
We collect as little as possible. We don’t require accounts, we don’t ask you to submit personal details to browse, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
Two things, both kept minimal. (1) Anonymous usage analytics: aggregate page views to understand what’s useful and improve the site. (2) Click measurement: when you tap “Check availability”, we record a click event (such as approximate country, the page, and browser type) to see which listings help travellers and to reconcile referrals with our booking partners. We don’t use this to identify you. If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.
Cookies & our partners
We keep our own cookies to a minimum. When you click through to a booking partner (such as Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com or our comparison provider Stay22), that partner may set its own cookies to remember your visit and credit the referral. This is governed by the partner’s own privacy policy, not ours.
Affiliate relationships
We earn a commission when you book with a partner after clicking from us. To make that work, partners track that the visit came from Upgrade Suites. See How we rank & make money.
What we never do
We never sell or rent your personal data, and we don’t build advertising profiles about you.
Your rights (GDPR)
As you’re likely in the EU/UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Email mail@upgradesuites.com and we’ll help. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; in Sweden that’s the IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).
