Affordable hotels with a private hot tub in Europe

You don't need a Santorini budget for a tub of your own. At our September 2026 price check, Granada, Antalya, Chania, Heraklion and Split all had a typical nightly price under €150 for a room with a private hot tub or jacuzzi, and the cheapest rooms came in well under €100.

We price every suite in the directory, which means we can see exactly where a private soak is cheap and where it's silly money. The gap is wider than you'd think: the same kind of room costs about six times more on Ischia than in Granada. Here's where the value is, how to pay less wherever you go, and what you give up at the lower end.

Where it costs less

Southern Spain and the Turkish coast lead the table. Granada pairs the Alhambra with some of the lowest prices we track, and Antalya and Fethiye give you a private hot tub for well under half of what the same thing costs on the Amalfi Coast. Crete is the best value in Greece: Chania, Heraklion and Rethymno all come in far below the Cyclades.

Croatia is the other easy win. Split and Zadar sit well under the Greek-island average for the same Adriatic blue. For a city break, Budapest and Verona are both kind on the wallet, and Budapest throws in the thermal baths for the days you want more water. The full table, updated every time we re-price, is in our Hot Tub Suite Price Index.

How to pay less anywhere

Go either side of high summer. On the islands, late spring and early autumn are warm enough for a terrace soak and noticeably cheaper than July and August. Sunday to Thursday nights usually beat weekends, especially in cities.

Look at the smaller room type. Plenty of hotels put a hot tub on a superior double as well as on the villa, and the double can cost half as much. And stay a little back from the famous view: in Santorini, Fira and Firostefani are often far cheaper than Oia for a very similar evening.

What you give up

Honestly, not as much as you'd expect. At the lower end the room is usually smaller, the tub more likely to face a garden or the street than the sea, and in cities it's often an indoor jacuzzi in the bathroom rather than a tub outside. Check the photos for the tub itself, not just the room.

What you don't give up is privacy. Every suite we list has the tub for you alone, whatever the price.
