Hotel Villa Sonia
Taormina, Italy · ★ 4.3 Exceptional B.Booking.com 8.6
A hotel with a private in-room hot tub in Taormina, where the tub sits in your bathroom and the room holds Sicilian character.
Hotel Villa Sonia is a hotel with a private in-room hot tub in Taormina, where you'll find the tub tucked into the bathroom itself. It's the kind of place that feels lived-in rather than polished: wooden beams overhead, terracotta floors, pink curtains that flood the room with light, and the sort of eclectic details (a mounted stone, old books, vintage lamps) that suggest the owners actually care about the space. You can soak in the hot tub after wandering Taormina's steep streets, then sink into the bed under those heavy wooden ceilings. The Deluxe Room, Hot Tub and One-Bedroom Villa both have the feature, as does the Deluxe Double or Twin Room with View. Guests rate it 8.6 out of 10.

Questions, answered
Where exactly is the hot tub in the room?+
It's in the bathroom itself, so you're soaking in a private space but not on a terrace or balcony. It's intimate and convenient after a day exploring Taormina.
Which rooms have the hot tub?+
The Deluxe Room, Hot Tub; the One-Bedroom Villa; and the Deluxe Double or Twin Room with View all feature a private hot tub.
Which part of Taormina gives the best views from an in-room tub?+
Properties on the hillside above the old town, or those facing east toward Isola Bella and the bay, tend to offer the most dramatic outlook. Places like Isola Bella Infinity Suites and The View Luxury Apartments Taormina are positioned precisely for this.
What's the price range for a private tub suite in Taormina?+
The properties we list run from around €134 to €1,021 per night, so there's genuine range here. The lower end still gets you a private setup with real character; the top end buys you serious space and usually a terrace to go with it.
