Jean de Valette Boutique Living
Valletta, Malta · ★ 4.4 Exceptional B.Booking.com 8.8
Soak in your bathroom jacuzzi while Valletta's honey-stone rooftops stretch to the sea.
The 2 Bedroom Spa Penthouse at Jean de Valette Boutique Living gives you a private in-room hot tub in Valletta, set into the bathroom where you can watch the city unfold beyond the window. It's the kind of thing that sounds silly until you're actually there, jets working, steam rising, and the whole of this ancient capital laid out in front of you. The room also has a sauna, so you can move between heat and cool water without leaving the suite. It's a proper spa setup, not a gimmick. Guests rate it 8.8 out of 10, which tells you it delivers on the promise.

Questions, answered
Can you actually see the city from the jacuzzi?+
Yes. The bathroom window frames Valletta's honey-stone rooftops and the sea beyond, so you're not soaking in a windowless box.
Is this suite good for families or couples?+
With 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom with the jacuzzi and sauna, it works better for families or small groups than for a romantic weekend for two.
Which area of Valletta gives the best views from an in-room tub?+
Properties closest to the city's southern bastions tend to overlook the Grand Harbour or the Three Cities, so if the view matters as much as the water, prioritise those over hotels on the quieter northern streets.
What's the price range for a private-tub suite in Valletta?+
The properties we list run from around €88 to €492 a night, so there's a genuine spread. Shoulder season (November to February, outside the Christmas week) tends to bring rates noticeably closer to that lower end.
